Our Process

We value your time and understand how busy everyday life is and we do not believe in high pressure sale tactics or marketing gimmicks. We give you our best price up front without long winded sales presentations. When you contact DWM Roofing for an estimate on replacing your roof, we can set up an exact appointment time and date to meet with you at your home. If you have a hectic schedule and prefer not to meet with us, we will gladly stop by to measure your roof and provide you with a detailed proposal via email and literature left by your door. All our estimators are highly qualified roofing technicians with many years of experience in the field. You can trust that your roof is being assessed by a professional that understands every aspect of the roof. When your estimator arrives, he will talk with you to discuss and listen to your needs and concerns of the roofing project. If you are unsure of what style or color roof you would like, we will show you numerous options and styles of shingles. Your decision does not have to be made at that time. Your estimator will set up a ladder, get on your roof, and get accurate measurements. During this time, we will inspect the roof and ventilation to help identify any problem areas or concerns that he may find. We will compile any and all necessary information and provide a detailed estimate typically within 24hrs.

Presentation

We will show you different types of shingles ranging from 25 year to lifetime warranties. We will explain the differences in the styles of shingles, along with the accessory products and the process of how and where they will be installed on your roof. We will explain the manufacturer’s standard and extended warranties as well as our personal warranty terms & conditions. Our presentation folder, that we will leave with you, will contain copies of our workers compensation and general liability insurances, our MHIC license, and a “what to expect while working at your home” sheet. We will also include referral sheets that include numerous addresses of previous jobs that we have completed. This is a great tool to help you not only see what our work looks like but allow you a real life example of the various styles and colors available. Once our presentation is complete and we have addressed all questions and concerns, a simple phone call is all it takes to begin the process of replacing your roof. Feel free to contact us anytime if you have any questions or concerns with your roofing project. We are more than happy to help.

Hiring DWM

Once you have made your decision to entrust DWM Roofing with your roofing project, the next step is to make your selection of color and style; the rest is up to us. We will put your project on our schedule and provide a time frame of when we estimate your job will be completed. Keeping in mind that Mother Nature greatly affects our schedule, in some cases it could take longer than expected to complete your roofing project.

Installing the Roof

We typically have the materials delivered to your home one day prior to your scheduled installation; this ensures that we have the right material to complete your project and helps eliminate unexpected delays. Your project manager and our roofing crew will arrive between 7:00- 8:00am. Your project manager will review the job requirements with our field foreman to ensure that your project is being completed to your satisfaction and according to contract specifications. We lay tarps around your home to protect it and your landscaping to the best of our ability. We move any lawn ornaments or furniture away from the house during the roofing process. They will be returned to their place after the job is complete. Most roofs are completed in one day. At the completion of the job we make sure the roof and gutters are clean and spotless. All roofing material will be cleaned up from the yard, walkways, and driveway. We magnetically sweep and then blow with a leaf blower the yard, walkways, and driveway to ensure that no nails are left behind.

Post Inspections

Each roof goes through two inspections after the project is completed. The first inspection is performed by our field foreman and the second, by your project manager. If there are any problems detected by either DWM Roofing or you, as the homeowner, we will make sure they are addressed and repaired immediately. There will be no money collected until you are 100% completely satisfied. Once your payment is received, our ten year labor warranty will be in effect. If your project included a manufacturer’s extended warranty, DWM Roofing will register that on-line and you will receive, in the mail, a registration card describing the extended manufacturer’s warranty for your records.
